Canada’s new F1 pit complex

With a new contract for the Canadian Grand Prix to through to 2029, plans for a new pit and paddock complex at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal have been unveiled.

With this pit complex covering three levels to accommodate the teams, media and guests visiting the track, the circuit’s facilities will be vastly improved.

The estimated cost is CA$48 million, and construction work is scheduled to start in July 2018.  It will then be completed in April 2019 ahead of that season’s race.
