Ahead of Red Bull racing launching their F1 car for 2018 this week, we wonder if there will be anything as interesting as this test livery launched in Jerez in 2015.
The four-time champions chose not to carry out any form of official launch or car unveiling for the Renault-powered RB11, instead heading straight out of the garage in the surprise colour scheme without ceremony.
The 2015 season saw Daniel Ricciardo and Daniil Kvyat take Red Bull Racing to 4th in the Championship. This was the last Red Bull car with engines badged as “Renault” and to feature their title sponsor Infiniti as they split from Red Bull at the end of the season due to a breakdown in the team’s relationship with Renault.
Let’s hope something exciting turns up at the launch of the RB14 this week.
